Canon XSi SLR 12.2 Mpx Camera purchased this morning.
Yup, and with a decent lens too! AND I am now $1,000 USD in debt to my own mother. :faint: I really can't thank her enough... :O

Although I technically do not have the camera in my hands just yet; it was purchased online for pickup at Best Buy. :giggle:
I CAN'T WAIT TO GET THAT THING IN MY HANDS. :boogie:

I need to get my ass babysitting more.. and I need to find a job. And maybe I should attempt selling prints on here. *shifty shifty eyes*
I just know I owe my mom $25-100 a month. o___o

Thank you all for all you supportive help in helping decide between the Canon XSi and the Canon XTi. I really appreciate it all, and I'm happy to say I'm about to go photo crazy this summer, and you'll all have to witness it! Bwahahaha! :lmao:

I know I'm on my club account lolz but I hope you enjoy the new camera. I probably can't get an slr for a long time. I use a point and shoot and it works alright. I just don't have the money for the slr and all the special lenses etc.

I'll probably be talking all about it tonight. I don't want it to seem as though I'm bragging, but I already know how excited I am! o____o *going crazy to just TOUCH it already!!* lmao.. well, I suggest you already get it for yourself for Christmas/birthday. Whichever celebration you can afford it by. :nod: And hopefully, whichever comes sooner. :nod:

If I could trust fedex or anything, I'd probably let you borrow it. I love how I can trust you already, and I only talk to you through DA. xD You're a very nice person with a mind in a good place. :)

But yes, they are quite expensive.. the only reason she's doing this is because I know this is my career from here on in. :nod: Otherwise, no such money as even over $400 would've been spent. :no:

Well thank you. I really hope I use it to its full ability. I can't wait to start using it.

& point and shoots are fine. I worked with one for a long time and I loved it. I would have no problem using one again if I had the chance.

you have the right to brag. i would too! i just got back from best buy and i bought extra batteries for my "advanced" camera. >__> im undecided on what i want to buy...synthesizer or a dslr (ill make a decision by december when hopefully both are cheaper xD)

aww youre sweet. however, i wouldnt want to borrow it. im scared to even carry my cousins xti rebel case!
