'ello there.

some of you much be wonderful 'wot the 'ell i've been up to this past week barely even logging into my deviantart account.

first and foremost, i am finally setting up a nice studio in my bedroom. i've been working vigorously to update the concert photography and news on theinterlude.com. i was recently offered a job offer at this venue by me that i constantly shoot bands' performances at. (yay!) i've been working on DMV troubles, family matters, insomnia, friends who aren't doing so well right after they've graduated from high school, getting my schedule completely updated and pretty much REDONE due to cancellations and oncoming tours and requested photo shoots. and most importantly, getting my new computer, trying to sell one of my finches, trying to sell my old lighting set... etc etc.

As you can tell, SO MUCH has been going on.


for those of you wondering about my next newsletter feature that was supposed to happen a week ago, i apologize for the sudden leave. all the pieces i plan on having in my next newsletter feature are SAVED in my favorites collection. understand? So they WILL be featured as soon as i have the time.

now here's my current issue. i need a macro lens.
now, i'm new with this. as you can tell from my most recent work, i am very much into going macro with my photography! except, i have yet to own one.

so who knows of the band called The Word Alive...?
.. Greeley Estates? ... IN FEAR AND FAITH?!

ok. well i can't tell whether any of you know any of THEM.

but Telle was in EACH of these bands as sometime in his musical career. right now, he's in The Word Alive. and as many of you may know, i am a concert shooter on the side of all my crazy nature shooting.

i got some pretty awesome shots of telle while he was performing in new york city. his personal myspace has my shot of him as his default!! *crazy scream because telle is such an amazing person!* you can see it here: [link]

i just thought that was really really awesome! i didn't mean to go all crazy fan girl. it's just that i really admire his work and the passion he has for being in a band. he is a wonderful front man for The Word Alive and will never be anything less. i wish him the best of luck as he advances in his career!

an artist as talented and as young as she... only a few page views and favorites? i am bewildered, astonished, in utter shock. as you all can obviously see my simple audience of only so many, this is the first time i have ever expressed such an appalled reaction on deviantART, especially in a journal that is seen by so many and only so few!

an artist who has mastered skills many of us currently wish to kindle our current skills to. an artist so young and beautiful, who could also do self-portraits without a single issue, who has created such brilliant pieces of work that are best fit to be featured as daily deviations. my people, wake up! look at her work. tell me you won't watch her or dare put any of her deviations to full view just to experience the overall beauty in them! this, my friends, is a true discovery i have bestowed upon. may your eyes feast on the work once never seen by so many eyes at once soon dance in your favorites gallery as the pieces to lighten it up the most!
